VOLUNTEER EXPERIENCE

2002-2004  President of the San Jose State Ceramic Artist Guild

Responsible for arranging and conducting student

organization meetings for purpose of bringing professional

artists to SJSU, raising funds for studio equipment, and

managing the biannual student pottery sale


EXPERIENCE:

•  Practicing pottery for 10 years

•  Teaching Assistant for a San Jose State University Intermediate

Ceramic class for the Spring semester of 2004

•  While working as the Instructional Assistant at Allan Hancock College I repaired potters wheels, gas and electric kilns;

and maintained studio equipment

•  Participated in building a soda/salt kiln with an Associate Faculty

member for the Ceramic Department at Allan Hancock
